You may have noticed a lack of updates from our ministry. We are returning to our previous schedule: sending you monthly updates detailing the lives God is renewing and restoring on college campuses.
Reflect Campus Missions has not been idle. Our ministers and board have been striving to fulfill our goals of transforming students for Christ, developing disciples and leaders, and planting vibrant Campus Missions. These phrases may sound like simple bullet points or platitudes, but they are goals shared and enacted by men and women who love our God and feel called to build his kingdom.
Our Blue Hens For Christ ministry has continued to thrive on the University of Delaware campus. Casey Coston has been working hard as our Campus Minister, leading Bible studies, discipling students, and fostering a Christ centered culture that builds up young Christians and provides hope for those seeking. As blessed as we are to have Casey and his family here in Delaware, have been praying for more young Christians to come and help lead and disciple at BHC. Also, with the increasing disparity of young women to men attending college (almost 60% of enrolled students are women), it is clear Casey needs help to minister to the growing number of young women on campus. Our prayers were answered this Spring as we gained a full time apprentice: Lauran Brady! She graduated from Troy college in Alabama, and after discovering a passion for ministry, she committed to working at BHC and apprenticing with Casey for two years! We have already been blessed to see how her bubbly personality and passion for Jesus have affected the students at UD. In addition to Lauran, our intern Jaclyn (a UD alum) is discipling students, and Ann continues her outreach to the international students through English language lessons and Bible studies!
We thank you, donors and prayer partners for your steadfastness, support, and trust. We know your time and resources are valuable, and we are encouraged that you trust us to spend your donations wisely in the service of fulfilling the great commission. We remind you that none of our board members are paid, and all of your donations go to supporting our ministers, maintaining our campus facilities, and funding student outreach, missions trips, and Campus plants. As economic conditions worsen, we are thankful for your generosity, as we know it is sometimes a struggle to give. We ask that you continue to pour out prayer for God to be glorified in our work, and lost souls to be brought into his light.
We will continue to update you and share encouraging stories in the months to come!
God bless you!
